Keeping up with being quirky, Adelaide and I visited the Hair Museum (think Route 66) in Independence, Mo last week. It has the worlds largest collection of hair wreaths. Prior to the invention of photography, Victorian women crafted jewelry and wreaths from the hair of family members and friends for keepsakes, and as a family grew, so did the wreath. Normally in a horseshoe shape to hold luck, and allow more to be added. It was fascinating, and odd.
