36 hours and gone....

All this beauty, and the grand magnolia only lasts one day....

2 reasons why not

1) Chris should not talk for 90 min on the phone while sitting in a chair, and then get up and walk ...

2) Next time he breaks his leg playing soccer, he should have them x-ray his foot so they can tell him it is broken. That way he won't have to figure it out 2 years later when tripping on carpet at work.

99 reasons to celebrate!

If only we can all be so lucky to live to be a healthy, active, witty 99 year old like Chris' grandma Esther, aka "Essie". Bonicelli's hosted a big party to celebrate her birthday with family and friends from near and far....

Colorado or Bust!

We were lucky in Colorado to be included in so many fun events ....
1st, David and Bea Judge's 25th Anniversary party (sorry David, you got bumped from the photos!),

2nd, our close friend's The Raddatz' Crawfish Boil, where we got to catch up with lots of other favorite people we miss....

3rd, at the Lake (Boulder Co) with the Langers ....

Next, 5th grade continuation












Then, almost a week with our good friends the Cravens, who  are moving from New Mexico to Australia

We never saw much of our kids, as they were staying with friends most nights.....

Missing are photos of seeing John, Terrie, Alex and Sara, catching up with old neighbors, all our friends we caught up here and there, and "The Cover Girls" at book club, hosted by Bev Robin. It was an incredible week filled with friends, family and fun!!!!

Grads

Adelaide graduates from elementary school, Kylie graduates from middle school. Adelaide also gets invited to go through continuation in CO!

Sold!

We sold our Denver home to a wonderful couple expecting their second child. 
 I got to slide in a few visits with friends and family! A couple nights out with friends Darcy's and  Jing were a blast, and a few Rockies baseball games of course almost made me forgot all the hard work of packing up our house while I was there to move to KS....

Bea Judge, Nancy Nickless and Diane Hunter flew in for 3 fun days with us in Kansas City!

04.05.10 Take me out to the ballpark....

First day in the AL watching the Royals and their Cy Young pitcher Grienke. Great seats, great stadium and so happy it is time for baseball! And yes, I am still a loyal Rockies fan!

Ted, a college friend was here working, and liked KC so much, that he re-booked his flight home so he could stay for 2 more days with us. Bonicelli's were hosting a pizza party, as NBC had contacted Margaret about trying out for another reality show involving a pitch for a restaurant theme, and they wanted a tape of her concept. Her's of course, would be wood fired pizza!
